This presentation will discuss how the introduction of a new generation of products, tools and services supported by new technologies can impact the performance and results of Preventive Maintenance strategies. It will touch also on possible ways to integrate all those new resources into a system that combines all available information, not just the equipment condition, but also the process condition, in a way that can leverage the Predictive power of that huge amount of information and reduce the costs of maintenance. Results achieved from a number of case studies will be presented to illustrate how this is bringing benefits to the paper making industry.
