Dr. Warren Batchelor (H-index 31) is an Associate Professor and the Deputy Director of the Bioresource Processing Institute of Australia (BioPRIA) at Monash University (Australia). He is a past Chairman of the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry (TAPPI) Paper Physics Committee, the peak committee for the field, as well as being an Appita Fellow. Warren was awarded the Ken Maddern award for outstanding paper published in the Appita Journal in 2013. In 2022, he created the Standardised Test Method for Repulpability Assessment for the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO), the only recyclability protocol for the Australian market.
