APPITA LR BENJAMIN MEDAL
The Appita L R Benjamin Medal is Appita’s highest award for outstanding contribution to the scientific and/or technological development of the Australia and New Zealand pulp and paper industry. The contribution must be largely personal and could be in research, development, engineering or management. The medal honours the late Louis Reginald Benjamin, CBE, a pioneer and leader in developing the pulp and paper industry based on Australian eucalypts. It is an award designed to encourage technical excellence, innovation and achievement. This award was Instituted in 1971 and the nominee need not be an Appita member to be eligible for this award. Nomination form for LR Benjamin Medal.

BRICE CHARLES LANDMAN MEMORIAL AWARD - YOUNG PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR
The Brice Charles Landman Memorial Award for the Young Professional of the Year recognises an individual or individuals who are pursuing excellence in their careers and have made a valuable contribution to their organisation and/or the pulp and paper industry by demonstrating an outstanding level of professionalism, integrity and leadership in their position either at a local or international level. OERTEL NADEBAUM DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD

The Oertel Nadebaum Distinguished Service Award recognises Appita members who have made substantial non-technical contributions, in a voluntary capacity to Appita over many years. The qualify for the award, the nominee must have been an active financial member for at least ten years. The prize is funded directly by Appita. It takes the form of a bronze sculpture of about 120 mm diameter, mounted on polished wood, with a cast bronze plate bearing the recipients name. Nomination form for Oertel Nadebaum Award.
