The Brazilian Pulp and Paper Technical Association (ABTCP) was founded in 1967 first as the Brazilian Pulp and Paper Association (ABCP) – the letter T was only added in 1987 –, with the main objective of technically training professionals to work in the paper sector and contribute to its development. Through its continued passion, the Association, in addition to technically training people interested in working in the pulp and paper sector, also organizes Latin America’s main pulp and paper international congress and exhibition; works on defining standards for the sector; and promotes international technological exchanges, among other actions.
