The Brazilian Pulp and Paper Technical Association (ABTCP) was founded in 1967 first as the Brazilian Pulp and Paper Association (ABCP) – the letter T was only added in 1987 –, with the main objective of technically training professionals to work in the paper sector and contribute to its development.

The Bioenergy Association provides assistance and a wealth of bioenergy information to support its members' business and promote their expertise and capabilities for undertaking activities in the New Zealand, SE Asia, Australian and Pacific with regard to bioenergy related solutions.

Opal Australian Paper’s Maryvale Mill in Victoria’s Latrobe Valley is a major regional manufacturer producing a wide range of packaging paper and board. It is a vertically integrated operation producing kraft liner board, bag, sack and industrial papers, as well as copy, printing and inkjet paper.
The Maryvale Mill produces over 550,000 tonnes of paper per annum on five paper machines and operates three pulp mills in addition to a brown recycled mill and an advanced de-inking plant for white wastepaper.

The Opal Paper & Recycling Botany Mill is located in Matraville, NSW, and is one of Australia’s largest and most advanced cardboard recycling facilities. The Botany Mill processes approximately 500,000 tonnes of Old Cardboard Containers from within Australia, producing more than 400,000 tonnes of high quality 100 per cent recycled packaging containerboard on the B9 machine.
