The Opal Paper & Recycling Botany Mill is located in Matraville, NSW, and is one of Australia’s largest and most advanced cardboard recycling facilities. The Botany Mill processes approximately 500,000 tonnes of Old Cardboard Containers from within Australia, producing more than 400,000 tonnes of high quality 100 per cent recycled packaging containerboard on the B9 machine. This material is converted domestically by Opal Fibre Packaging in Australia and New Zealand as part of the Group’s end-to-end supply chain.
