Shane heads up Beca’s Energy Transition and Decarbonisation business, focusing on supporting clients in their move towards a low carbon future. This includes the development of low carbon fuels such as bioenergy and green hydrogen across New Zealand and Australia. He has previously led Beca’s Industrial business in New Zealand and the Pacific for the past 10 years. His wider energy sector involvement includes representing Beca on several external bodies including being the Chair of the New Zealand Hydrogen Council. Shane is also the General Manager of the Wood Beca Joint Venture which is a long lasting and very successful partnership between Beca and Wood Group which is active in the Wood and Fibre sector.
