Maia Ireland-Blake is a Process Engineer at Oji Fibre Solutions Tasman Mill, where she provides process support to the Steam & Recoveries unit through environmental improvement projects, chemical and energy saving initiatives, process safety enhancement and plant optimisation. For the past year, Maia has also been the deputy chair NZ of the Appita YPN and a member of the Appita NZ section committee. Maia has an avid interest in environmental sustainability which drew her into the pulp, paper and forestry industries.
