Aurelia announces successful use of its on-line, continuous non-destructive measurement to measure extensible and flat sack. Historically, non-destructive measurements have been unable to determine properties that are important to kraft extensible sack makers. Aurelia's team have developed new property relationships that allow excellent estimates of TEA, stretch and tensile for extensible sacks allowing all the benefits of the PSM-Q stiffness real-time measurement system to be applied to the extensible sack sector. Extensive trials using the PSM-Q on commercial kraft sack machines have shown that the PSM-Q property estimates are superior to the test room, while offering the power of real time trends and the ability to trim costs.
