A new carbon capture and utilisation (CCU) pilot plant in Newcastle will transform industrial emissions into valuable materials. MCi Carbon’s Myrtle Demonstration Plant will capture carbon dioxide emitted from ammonia production. It will use this to produce the building blocks of concrete, plasterboard, glass and paper.
