Tina Schirr is the Executive Director of the BusinessNZ Energy Council (New Zealand's representative of the World Energy Council). In her role she is leading the development of policy on matters relating climate change, energy, transport and related innovation. Tina is also part of the jury in leading competitions for energy entrepreneurs such as the Start-Up Energy Transition (SET) and 'Get in the Ring', part of the World Energy Council's expert groups (for example the WG on clean fuels), a member of Transpower's Consumer Advisory Panel, and an advisor to New Zealand’s Young Energy Professional Network (YEPN). Due to her passion for entrepreneurism, she is always looking out for the next game-changer in the energy sector.
