Tsunehiro Ogawa
President of Japan Paper Association
Tsunehiro Ogawa currently hold the position of President of Japan Paper Association.
Prior to this position, he had served in a variety of government posts including Director-General of Multilateral Trade System Department and Director-General for International Trade Policy during his thirty-one years in the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) from 1978 to 2009, engaging in the policy planning in the area of international trade, recycling, and standardization.
Also, after his retirement from METI, he served in the posts such as Vice President and Director-General of Japan Chemical Fibers Association (JCFA), Visiting Professor for Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies of Waseda University, and Executive Officer of TEIJIN Ltd.
He earned a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of Tokyo.
