Eduardo is Chemical Engineer and Master’s in Pulp & Paper from Sao Paulo University in Brazil. He has 38 years of experience in Pulp and Paper industry in Brazil, Australia, Europe and South Africa:

• VCP Jacarei mill (today Suzano Jacarei) Brazil: 1985 to 1995
• Bacell (Today Bracell Camacari) Brazil: 1995 to 1999
• Visy Pulp & Paper Australia: 1999 to 2018
• Mondi AG Austria: 2018 until now

Eduardo now works as a contractor for Mondi AG in Vienna headquarters. He works remotely from Melbourne and regularly travels to Europe and South Africa to visit Mondi Mills. He has experience in projects (greenfield and brownfield) as well in operation of Pulp Mills. He is responsible for the Pulp technology of Mondi Group, working in projects, mill development, optimisation, sustainability etc.

Previously Eduardo worked at the Visy Pulp & Paper in Tumut for 19 years, from the original project (greenfield) to being the Pulp mill Manager responsible for the mill’s operations until 2018.
